Tea in Lavender Fields

Jardin du Soleil, a lovely lavender farm in Sequim, Washington

Recently I have fallen in love all over again with lavender.
A visit to the lavender fields was on the agenda.
A perfect sunny day.
A day just to share a cup of tea and take in the fragrance of the flower.
A time to savor and slow down.

Do you take time to slow down?
Do you like to play in the lavender fields?

I hope some time this week that you find time to breathe and play a bit.
It is good for the soul and it was good for me.

I love lavender Marilyn, I have it in my gardens. I would love though, to find a field of it, I love the fragrance. Your setting is so beautiful, I'd never want to come home after that atmosphere.

Ahh, so pretty. My favorite lavender shop. In a week or so w/ all the sun they're just starting to get, its going to be fabulous purple everywhere!

Hi Marilyn,
I love lavender but I've never played in a field of lavender. I have stopped to smell the roses however many, many times! You have chosen a lovely spot to have a tea.
I have tried to fix your link but for some reason I can't get it to work. I wonder would you try to link up again? Thanks for sharing and Happy 4th of July!

Blessings,
Sandi

This would be my ideal tea setting, out in a lavender field! Beautiful.

Had a feeling it would be the Sequim area for the lavender fields - I recall passing them when up there some years back. How wonderful it is to be surrounded by huge perfumed waves of lavender blue - close by and no need to buy the expensive ticket to Provence!

Hope your new plants do well - looking forward to sniffing them and the roses!!!

Love, Mary
