Monday's Quotes

Sitting by a warm winter fire, TALKING and LISTENING.

"When you talk,
you are only repeating what you already know.
But if you listen,
you may learn something new."
~Dalai Lama

That's a very good quote. I have so much yet to learn!

How inviting! Sometimes there is nothing better than a cozy fire -- and a good conversation!

Fireplaces are magic! Also magical are people who can really talk in an interesting way!

Yes, yes, yes! (Saying that to remind *myself* of this great truth!)

Bob and I are such chatterboxes - as you well know! - and we loved the Dalai Lama's words.
Inspiring and so true.
Our home repair guy showed up today - somehow yesterday wasn't on his calendar, he thought it was Sunday! Anyway, he's an amazing man and used to live not far from you in Portland. He was thrilled to know you had taken us to the Lan Su Gardens, also the rose gardens etc. He also did work at the Nike complex.
Chilly and breezy here - we'll be lighting the fire again this evening - I feel like a quiet evening looking into the dancing flames, perhaps knitting and sipping something good.

Hope you are much better by now dear.

I have never tasted flowers. Interesting. You always have fun information for tea people.
I love the quote. I love people who are good listeners.
