The parents, grandparents, and children
came together to celebrate May Day.
Flowers were gathered together for wreaths for the head
and baskets to share.
The children celebrated.
Baskets were hung to celebrate the day.
It was a festive time of celebrating this special day,
the time of new blooms and new growth.

What a perfect May Day celebration complete with floral wreaths and a May Pole! Such fun!
I remember those fun times when we used to celebrate May Day at our school in the same way. It was lovely to see that you still keep up this tradition and now appreciate these events even more because of the enjoyment your little grandson must have in getting involved. He's growing up fast)!
